Next Stop: Barcelona! Need Tips!!

Hello you all! Finally this girl has booked her next trip. I am so excited to be heading to Barcelona (and back to Spain in general, see above photos from last time) for 5 days in April, I’ve been wanting to visit forever. I spy summer dresses, lots of Tapas and beach days in the future. However, that being said I know almost nothing about Barcelona, and need your advice.

  • Best sites to see?
  • Food I must try?
  • Best beaches?
  • What’s the nightlife like?
  • Best shopping areas?
  • Any information is needed and welcome!

Please share all with me. I’ll write down all the recommendations and plan it into my time there!

My AirBnB is booked as well, I am staying quite centrally with my travel buddy so we can walk everywhere. All in all, the trip ended up costing exactly 150 Euros for 5 days (bus+plane transport+AirBnb). That being said, I have an upcoming post about how I can afford to travel and how to travel on a budget, so stay tuned.

Comment below, and thank you so much to all that do. I can’t wait to share photos and tips from my time there, I am so excited!

I live in the UK but my home town is near Barcelona so i can give you some tips 😀
Do not miss Parc Guell, it is beautiful and also you have fantastic views of the city.

Outside Barcelona, you can see Montserrat, amazing!

I dont need to mention Sagrada Familia
Las Ramblas is very busy avenue with markets and shops so be careful with mobiles, wallets, handbags, etc that they can go easy…

Ooh so exciting!! For the most beautiful beaches you should consider renting a car for the day and driving up to Costa Brava! There’s a beach right in the city, but its nothing in comparison! Have fun on your trip!!

  • Oooooh how exciting! I love love LOVE Barcelona. Top sights for me would be the Sagrada Familia (breath taking) and also La Boqueira which is the most fab food market. Try Tapac 24 for delicious gourmet style tapas and definitely go bonkers in Zara – it’s so cheap!

Looking forward to reading what you get up to :) x

Ahh so excited to be hearing so much great stuff about Barcelona!! I am getting more and more excited as the day (slowly) go by 😀

I literally let out a little squeal when you mentioned Zara, because I had completely forgotten about that. It will be the most amazing thing compared to the insane Paris prices.

And yum, will be noting the food stuff, because this girl loves to eat 😀

Thanks for reading and for the tips! xx Julia
